Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27, 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former government official who was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration from 2017 to 2019. She is a senior fellow with the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.



 



 Prior to joining the Department of State, Nauert was an Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy under the Trump government between March and October 2018. Nauert was appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
